Guesthouse with two holiday apartments near the Ravensberg ski resort, as well as many recreational and hiking possibilities

The house with two holiday apartments is on a cul-de-sac by a little stream between the forest and mountains in Steina in the idyllic Steina Valley, about five kilometres from the cenre of Bad Sachsa. A little stream flows right in front of the house and there is a big adventure playground 50 metres away with a cable slide.

Holiday apartment atraveo no. 860853 is on the ground floor, measures 65m², has two bedrooms for seven people. Apartment atraveo no. 872152 on the first floor is for up to four people and has two double bedrooms. The apartments can be booked separately or you can book the whole house under property no. 1005681 for a holiday for up to 16 people.

Both apartments have a private balcony. There is a garden, but it is not offered for use as the site directly borders forest, mountains and a stream, and within a few minutes you can find a large grill area, a little dam, an adventure playground, a climbing wall, table tennis, minigolf, a sports ground etc. You can share use of a wooden veranda with a rustic seating group by the house on request. The adjoining private meadow site directly opposite may only be used for parking and playing at your own risk, for shared use with others.

You can share use free of charge from 11.00 to 13.00 and 15.00 to 21.00 of the unheated hobby cellar subject to prior request, booking and your own final cleaning. If you have booked the final cleaning for your holiday accommodation, you must still clean the hobby area yourself, where you can use: a pool table, darts, a bar, table football, air hockey, a cross trainer and a multifitness machine (currently not fully functional).
Available in the house or for collection in neighbouring Herzberg: bobsleights for two, old children’s and adult bicycles, a tandem and one to two motor scooters (optional insurance to be applied for yourself) can be booked in addition. The roadworthiness of the two-wheelers must be established by guests themselves and they are not checked beforehand by the owner, so use is at the risk of the holiday guest. Advice: bring your own pump and tools.
If holiday guests would like guest cards, the dates of birth of all guests must be notified by e-mail before arrival. If the guest fee has not yet been paid, the amount is to be placed in a labelled envelope on the day of arrival in the top postbox (Sieg, holiday apt. 1). If no dates of birth are notified, unfortunately no guest cards can be issued and the guest must register themselves at the tourism centre (near the Kurpark).
The use of a washing machine is excluded and may not be connected (otherwise risk of water damage) if not requested explicitly when booking or before arrival and only if prepared for use by the owner.
For arrivals outside of the heating season (01.04. to 31.10.), the heating is set as advertised. If operation is required, for example because outdoor temperatures are low, this must be notified when booking or at the latest two weeks before arrival and a supplementary cost is due. This is to be placed in the top postbox at the house.
All utility items (bed linen, towels, washing up and cleaning products etc.) must be brought by the guests themselves. Please do not forget toilet paper.
Note: there is no Internet access and mobile reception is questionable for weak network providers, as the property is in a valley. There is no problem with the D1 network and with LTE you can also quickly connect to the network here in the valley.

Right by the house are a stream and a hilly forest and about 50 metres away a large adventure playground with a cable slide etc. In the opposite direction is a big public and roofed grill area with rustic sitting areas for the whole family and friends, along with minigolf and a sports ground that can be rented for special occasions privately at a good rate. Not far away opposite the church is a climbing wall and a solid outdoor table tennis table for public and free use. In the vicinity lies the Ravensberg ski resort with a sledge run (over 600 metres long), downhill pistes and ski lifts, an indoor playing paradise, an ice skating rink, a leisure pool, a little lake with pedalos etc. In the neighbouring town Bad Lauterberg there is the local mountain with a cable car and the large Odertalsperre dam. You can set out on many hikes from the accommodation without a car. Shopping facilities in Bad Sachsa include Rewe, Penny, Aldi, Edeka etc. The various gastronomic establishments in Bad Sachsa also await your visit. The Harz Card is to be recommended: one should make use of this service in the Harz region, offering many price reductions when presenting the card, to be acquired in advance. If there are questions, the host is willing to help.

Ground-floor apartment on the right with a balcony

The apartment of around 65m² can accommodate up to seven people and consists of a living room with a fireplace (fuel: bio-ethanol, optional), a sitting corner with additional stools and a table, satellite TV and a cupboard bed (90 x 200cm) for one person. In total the apartment has two separate bedrooms. The first has a double bed (180 x 200cm), a pull-out tandem bed (each 90 x 200cm, two persons), various cupboard elements and satellite TV. The second smaller bedroom has a double bed (140 x 200cm), a monitor (replacement TV in case of malfunction in living room), a Playstation, a computer desk (with a Notebook on request) and a highchair. The rooms are connected by a hallway. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, crockery and ample cutlery for seven people. A dining group (for five people) is also in the kitchen. The bathroom is fitted with a WC, a bath with a shower attachment (but not a shower), a mirror, a hairdryer and storage surface.

A furnished balcony invites you to relax. Please note that it is not cleaned in the autumn and winter, with a thorough cleaning in spring. If used, the guest must do the cleaning themselves.

Only this holiday apartment is considered booked on booking confirmation, the rest is optional and availability is to be checked beforehand when booking.

    „Den rummelige lejlighed var fint, alle smagfuldt indrettede. Badeværelset er imidlertid behov for en renovering (et badekar, hvor man ikke kan tage et brusebad), renovering er, men lt.
