Enclosed, recently built (2007) holiday villa made of natural stone, with a private pool that can be illumated at night, with a separate area for children, an outdoor shower, a grill area on the sun deck and a panoramic mountain view from the roof terrace
This exclusive holiday villa enjoys a romantic location nestled into the hilly and lushly forested landscape just outside the picturesque little village of Maza, along the north coast of the sunny Greek island of Crete. You can spend a relaxing holiday here in idyllic surroundings with absolute privacy.
The family-friendly holiday villa was recently newly built (2007) in a traditional natural stone house style and provides all the necessary modern amenities for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning (cool/warm) in all rooms. The living space of 155m² comprises a light living and dining room with an integrated open kitchen, three bedrooms and a further sleeping area on the mezzanine level, as well as three spacious daylight bathrooms, of which one is ensuite. The living room on the ground floor provides a generous corner sofa suite, a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a USB port, a DVD player, a stereo system and a safe for your valuables, as well as a dining table with a wooden bench and chairs. The open fireplace enhances the romantic country house atmosphere and exudes cosy warmth on cooler evenings. You go through a round archway to the open kitchen with an elegant cooking island with the latest appliances, including a dishwasher, a four-zone electric hob with a cooker hood, an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Of the three bedrooms, two are furnished with a big double bed and one with two single beds that can also be pushed together as a double bed. Two further people can sleep on a supplementary double bed on the mezzanine. Of the three bedrooms, one has a bath with a shower attachment and two have a walk-in shower. They all have a washbasin with a big wall mirror, a hairdryer and a toilet. A washing machine, two cots and highchairs are available. Plenty of bed linen, towels and firewood for the fireplace are provided and the reliable Internet connection in the villa can be used free of charge.
Up in front of the mezzanine level there is the roof terrace with a table and chairs, from where you can enjoy the extensive panoramic view over the hilly landscape. Down in the charmingly planted garden your private pool awaits you with sun loungers and parasols. Children can paddle about safety in the separate area and will also enjoy the playground with a swing, slide and small football goal. The pool can be illuminated at night, so you can turn night into day and swim a few rounds under a starry sky. The grill area next to the sunny terrace invites you to enjoy leisurely meals with a panoramic view over the hilly landscape. A car is recommended during your stay and there are secure parking spaces right in front of your holiday villa.
The nearest long sandy beach in Georgioupolis is about 5km away. It is only about 150 metres to the centre of the little village of Maza with its Byzantine Agios Nikolaos Church, shops, colourful markets and a good range of cafés and restaurants.
