With its some 3,500 inhabitants, San Felice del Benaco can be described as a typical Italian village. It is situated some two kilometres south-west of Lake Garda. At an altitude of some 110metres above sea level, the town snuggles into the fertile slopes of the Valtenesi, a hilly area made up of glacial moraines. The region is characterized by the cultivation of wines, olives and cypresses. The overgrown remains of a castle dating back to the 14th century give San Felice del Benaco an air of romanticism. The parish church from the 16th century and the beautiful 18th century frescos in the baroque interior of the church Santi Felice Adauto e flavia are equally admirable. In the centre of town you will find the Monte di Pièta which currently serves as the municipal building. A short distance outside the town you can visit the Santuario della Madonna del Carmine, a Carmelite church dating built in the 15th century. The unadorned church used to be a popular place of pilgrimage and was built between 1452 and 1482.The byname of San Felice del Benaco is derived from the ancient Latin name of Lake Garda – lacus Benacus. You may also want to pay a visit to the beautiful child-friendly beaches around Porto San Felice, Porto Portese and the land tongue San Fermo a short distance away from the beautiful Isola del Garda, Lake Garda’s largest island. From Portese you have a breathtaking view of the town of Salò – some 4 kilometres away from the holiday facility – which offers a host of boutiques and sights.

With a size of about 70,000 m² the holiday facility Camping Europa Silvella is situated some one kilometre outside San Felice del Benaco directly on the shores of Lake Garda and on the Gulf of Manerba. You can reach the Isola die Conigli (4,400 m²), an island under wildlife protection, on foot, while the shingle beaches and the blue waters of Lake Garda wait to be explored by bathers. In the holiday facility there are two swimming pool, each one with a separate kiddies’ pool, a whirlpool, restaurant, bar, supermarket, tennis and volleyball courts, football field, playground, tabletennis table.

The well-equipped mobile homes each have a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a bunk bed for a toddler as well as a couch in the living area which can be converted into a sleeping couch. In the living area there is also a kitchenette (gas cooker, fridge, percolator), The bathroom is equipped with a shower while there is also a separate WC. Guests are welcome to relax on a roofed terrace furnished with garden furniture (one table, six chairs and two deckchairs).
